If you would like to be considered as a host studio, fill out a contact form and we can discuss further details. Local workshops will be held at Iris & Willow Photography’s studio in Madrid, IA. There must be at least 6 (7 including the host) attendees in order for me to travel for a workshop.

Group workshops are not hands on but make sure you bring your camera along as you will be shooting each pose while learning different angles and for post processing later in the day so if you have a laptop, bring that as well.

Cost is $900 per person with a $300 retainer due at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 1 week prior to the workshop date. A two day workshop is also available for $1200 per person.

Newborn Editing 101

Do you struggle to define your editing style as a newborn photographer? Have you spent hundreds on presets and editing tutorials only to find you still can’t perfect that certain look you are going for? I can relate all too well! I’ve spent the hundreds. I’ve watched alllllll the tutorials. I’ve spent countless hours trying to perfect my editing style only to end up more and more frustrated. I was fed up. So, rather then spending more money on presets and actions, I decided to invest my TIME to learn more about how Photoshop and Lightroom actually work. Once I had that knowledge, those presets and actions I spent hundreds on finally came to good use. Who knew?!! And now, I want to teach you everything I learned in my brand new editing course, Newborn Editing 101. This course will be done in person as a 1:1 or you can grab a friend and we’ll make it a 2:1.

Just a few of the topics we will cover:

-Lighting -Curves/Levels
-White Balance -Color grading
-Camera Settings -Layers/Masking
-Presets/Actions -Liquify
-Spot healing -Composites
-Cloning -Head swaps
-Dodge/Burn -Color changing

AND SO MUCH MORE!!
